About Second Summer
Most pools here are a summer-only asset. We think that’s a waste of a good pool.
Second Summer gives the pools people already own a second life: we renovate existing concrete pools, build heated hot tubs onto them, and add sunken fire pits and curved concrete seating to the backyard around them. We don’t build new pools. We fix, refresh and extend the ones already in the ground.
The name is the idea. Restore the shell you already have, add a hot tub in the same drain, and the backyard gets a second season: summer in the pool, the cooler months in the hot tub.
How we work
- Honest ranges up front. Our calculator shows real price ranges, including GST, before you give us your details.
- We’ll tell you when not to. If a pool isn’t worth renovating, or a hot tub isn’t right for it, we say so.
- One team, start to finish. Engineering, approvals, the build and handover, with a 7-year workmanship warranty.
